About Me

My name is Kara Arthaud. I am a stay at home wife and mama. We are a Christian family and strive to follow the Lord in all we do and raise our children up to know Him and serve Him. We have a very energetic three year old son and a very vocal 9 month old. I love being a mommy--it has its challenges of course--but it's very rewarding. I'm passionate about homeschooling, MOPS and DIY projects/crafts.

I've created this blog to document and share what our family is up to, our homeschool experiences, and give and receive ideas and encouragement in the areas of homeschooling, parenting and family life. My husband, Matt and I have been married since June 11, 2005. Matt is an LPN and a Licensed Massage Therapist as well. He currently works at a long term care facility as Assistant Administrator. He is currently working on his R.N. He is a very hard working and studious guy! I'm blessed to be married to such a great guy who is also a great daddy to our son and daughter.

This is our energetic, curious, sweet, smart, silly, slightly strong willed little five year old, Elisha. He loves playing matching/board games, riding his bike, drawing pictures, playing with his puppy, Snoopy, being read to/telling stories, and he has a major super hero complex--he puts on the cape or mask and he really believes he becomes that hero/character!

Our daughter, Eisley is now 9 months old. She is very vocal, sweet, cute and gets in to everything these days. She is best known for her crazy hair (tamed best in pig tails), chunky thighs and her big, toothless grin.
